Ford Australia has rolled out a ‘BaseCamp’ accessories pack on its Everest 4x4, bringing a claimed $6000 of extra value for a third of that price.

The $2000 (fitted) package can be fitted to the top-selling Trend four-wheel drive model, and brings a 76mm nudge bar, a Ford Genuine bonnet protector and snorkel, a Ford-licensed LED light bar, black roof-mounted carry bars, a Pioneer roof platform, and a Sunseeker awning.

The Everest BaseCamp retains the company’s five-year warranty, and the same 15,000km servicing intervals capped at $299 per visit for the first four years.

This is the second Everest announcement in November. The 2020 line-up will be joined by a new Everest Sport variant before the end of this year, bringing a range of dark-themed upgrades.
